Fourth Draft

4.11 PARKING SPACES

One of the most contentious issues discussed by residents during the consultation period has been parking. THCH will, as requested by residents on the Steering Group, maximise the number of parking spaces when changing the layout of the communal areas and introduce a system to ensure only those living on the estate can park on the estate. Residents also requested that any parking policy also takes into account those residents who require car parking for carers.

This can only be done through a controlled parking scheme, and THCH will rent out the bays on the estate for use by designated users only, with a waiting list maintained to a criteria set by the residents through consultation with the Area Resident Board.
