Community Development (Shamim)
Girl´s Youth Project:
Education, training and employment opportunities, interview techniques, IT training, tc.
Cultural, Arts & Sports project:
Cross-cultural activities are organised to improve understanding between communities.
Sports activities are organised to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.
Various arts & crafts sessions are to be held, such as designing frames, dress making, pattern design to promote creativity.
Outdoor activities will include trips to theatres, museums, and leisure centres.
Women´s Development Project:
Confidence to achieve their personal goals by acquiring new skills through training. In example: - IT, childcare, sewing & textiles. Basic literacy, numeracy and ESOL classes.

THCH aims to have a resident led organisation. It is committed to improving both housing quality and strengthening local communities.
THCH has 3 members of staff working to provide community development.

Community Groups
- Set up and help develop small and medium sized community groups which provide services on estates.
- Support and help develop existing groups where needed.

- Build new facilities and centres

- Build links with both voluntary and statutory sectors in order to lever their services onto THCH estates
